terms
Just before you commit, here are a few terms to make sure we’re all on the same page:
This is a collaboration between Loaf Spark Ltd and Stephanie Paterson so we’re committing to these terms jointly.
Each Purpose People Circle (‘Circle’) meeting will normally take place monthly. In the unusual scenario that a Circle cannot be hosted one month, a Circle will be arranged on a later date. This means that if you commit to a three month membership, we’ll ensure you have the opportunity to attend three Circle session, or 6 sessions for a six months membership.
Circle meetings will normally be jointly hosted by both Stephanie Paterson and Sarah King. There may be times though where it is just Stephanie or Sarah who hosts a Circle session.
Once you’ve committed to membership of a Circle, we hope that you’ll be able to join every Circle meeting. However, if you’re unable to attend a Circle meeting for any reason, we won’t be able to refund any proportion of the membership subscription or extend the length of your subscription. If you’re not able to make a session, it would be great if you could let us know.
We won’t be recording the Circle meetings, as we want members to feel comfortable to share openly and honestly.
If you change your mind within 14 days of committing to a 3 or 6 month Circle membership, just let us know and we’ll issue you a full refund.
Every member of a Circle will be asked to commit to keep the discussions within the Circle confidential. This is so that each member feels comfortable to share openly and honestly. We want it to feel a safe space where members can feel vulnerable, so it’s important that each member is confident that other Circle members will respect their confidentiality.
Each Circle will thrive on mutual respect and trust between its members. Whilst we do encourage differences of perspectives and healthy challenge, please treat your other Circle members with kindness. If we feel that any member is negatively impacting their Circle, we’ll do our best to sensitively resolve this with the member concerned. If there is ever such an issue that we feel cannot be resolved, we reserve the right to end that member’s Circle membership and refund the remaining unused proportion of their membership fee. (Hopefully this will never happen!).
Circle meetings will take place online via Zoom. We’ll discuss and agree with our first Circle the preferred platform for keeping in touch between meetings (e.g. just by email or another platform).
If any member works for an organisation who has a solicitor-client relationship with Ramsay Paterson, please be mindful of not raising anything which could cause a conflict of interest. This might be, for example, if you were to disclose that you intended to take any action which could significantly damage the organisation you work for. If you have any concerns about this or would to understand in more detail what might be a conflict of interest, please reach out to Stephanie Paterson.
We’ll only use your personal data to manage your membership, send you details about meetings and generally keep in touch regarding the Circle. We’ll ensure that any personal data is processed in accordance with our data protection obligations.
